School of Global Citizens is seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Nurse to promote
the health and well-being of our students. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive
nursing care, support health education, and ensure a safe school environment.
Key Responsibilities
● Health Services: Provide nursing care to students, including administering medications,
first aid, and managing chronic health conditions.
● Health Assessments: Conduct health screenings, monitor student health records, and
maintain accurate health documentation.
● Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency action plans for students
with medical conditions and respond to health emergencies as needed.
● Health Education: Educate students, staff, and parents on health-related topics,
including nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention.
● Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, staff, and parents to address health
concerns and promote a healthy school environment.
● Policy Implementation: Ensure compliance with district health policies and state
regulations regarding student health and safety.
Qualifications
Education
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program.
● Licensure: Current nursing license and CPR/First Aid certification.
Experience
● Previous experience in pediatric nursing or school nursing is preferred.
