Job Overview

School of Global Citizens is seeking three (3) reliable and hardworking Cleaners to maintain a
clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students, staff, and visitors. The ideal
candidates will take pride in their work and contribute to the overall cleanliness of the school.

Key Responsibilities

● Cleaning Duties: Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping,
vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common
areas.
● Waste Management: Empty trash bins and recycle containers, ensuring proper disposal
of waste.
● Maintenance Support: Assist in maintaining cleanliness of school facilities, including
furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
● Health and Safety: Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working
environment, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
● Reporting Issues: Report any maintenance or safety issues to the Admin Assistant
promptly.
● Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure that
cleaning schedules are maintained and that the school environment is conducive to
learning.

Qualifications

Education

● Completion of High school or equivalent preferred.

Experience

● Previous cleaning experience, especially in an educational or institutional
setting, is a plus.

Skills

○ Knowledge of cleaning techniques and proper use of cleaning equipment.
○ Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
○ Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
